Invite the Bot

You must have the Manage Server permission to add a bot.

Click the invite link and choose your server:

Invite Ageify Bot

Select your server → Continue → Authorize → complete CAPTCHA.

Create a “Verified” Role

This role is automatically assigned to users who pass verification.

• Go to Server Settings > Roles → Create Role.
• Name it something clear, e.g., ID Verified, and (optionally) set a color.
• Permissions: grant access to your member channels as appropriate. Do not grant administrative permissions.
• Click Save Changes.

Tell the Bot Which Role to Assign

Run the slash command below anywhere the bot can read and send messages:

/selectverifiedrole

Use the selector to choose your ID Verified role.

Create a Verification Channel

This is the entry point for users to start verification (e.g., #verify-here).

• Create a Text Channel in your server.
• Open Edit Channel > Permissions:
• For the bot role/user: Allow View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Use Application Commands.
• For @everyone: Allow View Channel, Deny Send Messages. (Users should see instructions but not post.)
• In that channel, create the interactive button with:

/create_verification_button

A button will appear guiding users through the verification process.

Verify Your Configuration

Run the helper command to confirm everything is wired correctly:

/setuphelp

Optional: Configure Logging Channels

Create one or two channels (e.g., #verification-success and #verification-failure) where the bot can post outcomes. Ensure the bot has Send Messages permission.

Then select the channels with:

/select_success_logging_channel
/select_failure_logging_channel

Moderators can review who passed or failed verification from these logs.
